A short trip

Tada..!

I am back in KL :)

A very nice trip to me but it sounds bored to Grace :p

Luckily she did not follow or else she will be complaining throughout the whole trip. Haha :D

This is my stop :)

I kinda miss this place actually.

My last visit to Taiping was like 9 years ago and I don't really have much memories about Taiping so this is the best opportunity for me to know more.

Well. I get to see a lot of my long lost relatives but actually they are just so close to us.

I totally cannot recognize any of my far distance cousins. So sad :(

But at least now I know... Grace and Gil still don't know. Haha!

Grand aunties, uncles and aunties are all very nice people.

Taiping is a very small town. If your socialization skills are good, knowing the whole town isn't a big problem. Haha :D

The roads there are slightly narrower and most people travel in motorcycle or bicycle. Nice..!

Travelling distances are short.. That's why!!

The air there are also fresher for sure.

Nice man. KL people just cannot enjoy this kinda morning breeze.

There is a very unique activity there.

This activity starts from 7.30am until roughly 9am every morning except for Sunday.

People in town will bring different food everyday to this big hall ( I call it a hall la but it looks something like temple but it is not ) and everyone will gather there.

They will classify the food on the table into fruits, cakes, rice, vegetables and etc neatly on the table. These foods are for the monks from the monastery up the hill.

They will walk down every morning to this hall and take the food.

They have a big "Tupperware" , I don't know what is it call and I just call it tupperware la. I big tong la where they hang it across their shoulder.

Then, everyone will form into a circle, the committee people will pass on the food to everyone.

People have to kneel down with the food on hands then the monk will go around the circle to take a lil bit from everybody.

They must take everything that people give them. So, they take a lil bit of everything lu.

People can take the leftovers home.

After the monk taken their food, people will sit on the mats and listen to the monks blessing( something like meditation ) and pray together.

A very new thing to me and I think it is nice :)

You can see people really work together lols!

The pond is covered with lotus.

I don't get to go to the Taiping lake. Sigh!

We don't have time. This trip is just too short.

I don't get to go to the Safari Night in the zoo too.

I hope that mummy can bring me there again lols :)

252km back home.

Stopped by Ipoh for dinner. The food is disappointing. Maybe we don't get to eat the nice one.

Then... Guess what?

A sudden surprise,

Remy and Reyes were in Taiping too lols.

I had a great afternoon with them. They are just so so so cute. Oh my...!

I miss them so much.

Hope to see them soon.
